Hailing from the vibrant heart of Miami, Chronology emerges as a groundbreaking ensemble in contemporary jazz and latin fusion. Chronology is an embodiment of dynamic musicianship that is met with diversity. Originally formed as a quartet ensemble between Ecuadorian drummer Juan Posso, Chinese bassist Tianyu Zhang, Chinese pianist Taibai Mou, and Floridian saxophonist Kevin Shinskie, Chronology showcases some of the Frost School of Music’s highest established musicians. With airtime on Miami's WDNA Jazz Radio and a debut performance at the Salamander in Overtown, Chronology strives to blend a variety of musical and cultural styles for its listeners.
