Kevin Shinskie is a multi-woodwind musician based from the east coast of Florida. Trained at Vanderbilt University, where he studied under the mentorship of Dave Mathew’s Saxophonist, Jeff Coffin, Kevin has received multiple individual downbeat awards for his compositions and performances as a soloist.
At the age of 23, Kevin’s career has already landed him professional opportunities with the Ryan Middagh Jazz Orchestra, Alabama Symphony, Stephen Guerra Big Band, Broward Center for Performing Arts, and 2023 finalist at the esteemed Jazz at Lincoln Center Jack Rudin competition. Kevin is receiving his Master’s in Jazz Performance from the Frost School of Music with his mentor, Marcus Strickland.
